TRC25: The Industry’s Homecoming
Now in its fourth year, The Running Conference presented by haku (TRC25) returns to Loughborough University from 7th to 9th December 2025 – and it’s set to be the biggest edition yet.
TRC25 is recognised as the annual homecoming for the sport and business of running, exclusively for members of the Running Industry Alliance (RIA). Bringing together more than 350 senior leaders and decision-makers from across ten defined industry sectors, TRC25 offers an unrivalled opportunity to connect, collaborate, and collectively shape the future of the industry.
Expanding to Burleigh Court
Due to growing demand and our shared ambition to go further, TRC25 has expanded into Burleigh Court, the premier hotel and conference centre on campus. This move allows the conference to grow in scale and ambition while remaining rooted in the trusted environment of performance, innovation, and excellence that Loughborough University is known for.
What’s New and Not to Miss at TRC25
Alongside three days of keynotes, fireside chats, workshops, data insights, networking, and activations, TRC25 proudly supports three specialty industry days:
Triathlon Industry Conference (#TIC25): Returning for its second year in a larger space with greater capacity, bringing fresh opportunities and deeper sector-specific insights for all attendees.
Running Retailer Sessions (#RRS25): Back for a second year, these sessions provide a dedicated space for retailers with content shaped around data-led insight, benchmarking, and collaborative discussion.
🆕 Event Organiser Sessions: New for 2025, a half-day programme tailored to race and event organisers of all sizes, offering strategies, shared learning, and future-facing support to strengthen the events ecosystem.
Each specialist day is designed to empower its business (B2B) community with tailored content, meaningful connection, and forward-thinking collaboration.
Launching the Running Industry Awards 2025 🎉
New for this year is the Running Industry Awards 2025, held on Tuesday 9th December as a stand-alone Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony. Delivered in partnership with RunEvents and England Athletics, the Awards are open to everyone - Members and Non-Members – and will celebrate the individuals, brands, businesses, ideas, and innovations shaping the sport and business of running today.
