We’re delighted to welcome Emily to the Running Industry Alliance (RIA) Advisory Board.
Emily brings a unique blend of global commercial leadership, endurance sport expertise, and a genuine passion for helping people and businesses achieve their full potential. Her career has been built around transformation, growth, and creating opportunities through sport—values that align strongly with the work we do across the RIA community.
Today, Emily holds a key leadership role at Spartan, one of the world's leading fitness and endurance brands with a global community of more than 10 million participants participating in the ever expanding portfolio of Spartan, DEKA, Tough Mudder, Spartan Trail, Highlander and many more.
As Vice-President, DEKA International, Emily is driving the expansion of DEKA across Europe and International markets , supporting affiliate growth and the delivery of events that inspire participation, challenge limits, and create meaningful community impact through sport.
Prior to joining Spartan, Emily spent 14 years with PageGroup, building an impressive international career across the UK and Japan. During this time she established herself as a leading sales professional, worked with some of the world's largest consumer businesses, and led diverse, multicultural teams. Her entrepreneurial spirit also saw her found Mums in Business Tokyo, a thriving network supporting professional women balancing successful careers with family life.
Emily's experience spans commercial partnerships, business development, leadership, community building, participation sport, and international market growth. Her perspective will be invaluable as RIA continues to unite, support, and advance the running industry.
