Track Stars Returns to TRC for a Second Year of High-Energy Track Action
1-mile relay, inclusive whilst taking place at an elite-level venue, expanded partners, and a community celebration of movement at TRC25
Excited to announce the return of Track Stars to TRC25 bringing back one of last year’s most talked-about group activations for a second year!
Taking place at the world-class High Performance Athletics Centre (HiPAC) at Loughborough University - a venue trusted by elite international athletes - Track Stars offers TRC25 attendees an inclusive, unforgettable on-track experience centred around movement, teamwork, and community.
Following its energetic debut in 2024, originally created to honour the 70th anniversary of Sir Roger Bannister’s historic sub-four-minute mile, the 1-mile relay format (8 x 200m) will return in 2025 with the same high-energy atmosphere and even more partner engagement.

How Track Stars Works
Participants can register for a spot directly via the TRC25 registration pathway. On the day, runners will be assigned to teams at random, creating up to 16 teams of eight (128 total capacity). Race numbers will be collected at the krono:sports TRC25 desk upon arrival this year from 7th December.
A full briefing and format details will be shared with all participants ahead of the event.
Track Stars is designed for everyone - whether you’re stepping onto the track or cheering from the sidelines. Attendees are encouraged to come along, support one another, and be part of this high-energy celebration of movement, connection, and community that has become one of the defining moments at The Running Conference presented by haku.

A friendly competitive edge is almost guaranteed, with prizes awarded for standout performances and medals for all, including:
