Sunday happenings at The Running Conference 2023 presented by haku

Running Industry Alliance (RIA) has announced further details about happenings and activations at The Running Conference 2023 presented by haku, which takes place from 10th – 12th December 2023 at Holywell Park Conference Centre, Loughborough University.


Sunday (10th December) starts with a mix of getting to know each other, an activation on the university’s athletics track, Business Speed Networking, the opening drinks and dinner, a film and panel evening, and the official opening of TRC23 with a welcome by the founders Rebecca (Becs) and Jonathan. 


The Track and Talk Session is hosted by Altra and includes a talk at Holywell Park Conference Centre followed by a run and a track session on the iconic Paula Radcliffe Athletics Track. Runners will get the opportunity to test the new low-drop road shoe AltraFWD Experience which was launched this month (October), as well as the Altra Torin 7 and the Altra Paradigm 7. A limited number of places are available to TRC23 attendees, and places need to be secured via the TRC23 ticket registration channel.


After the Business Speed Networking "The Speed Sessions" hosted by RIA and haku, the evening continues with ‘Movement for Change’ – film and panel, hosted by Aspire. This takes place at Holywell Park Conference Centre, where TRC23 attendees can join Aspire and a guest panel to celebrate inspirational figures in our community and talk about the power of running to bring people together and inspire positive change. 


The Sky Bar is hosted again by ERDINGER Alkoholfrei for the first beer and networking.

The Running Conference 2023 presented by haku is the annual RIA Members in-person meet up and features content specifically curated for RIA Members based on topics that are relevant, timely, and impactful for the sport and business of Running. The content will focus on the areas of The Market Place; Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB); Health and Wellbeing; Sustainability ; Research, Data and Insights; Future; with a mix of speakers, panels, workshops, round table discussions, activations, celebrations and plenty of industry (B2B) networking.


RIA membership applications for 2023 close on 15th November and reopen on 15th January 2024, and anyone wanting to be at The Running Conference 2023 presented by haku should complete the application form or contact membership@runningindustryalliance.com to apply to join RIA asap.
